From O.R. Tambo international airport (Johannesburg) :

* coming out of the airport, take R21, direction of Pretoria, follow R21 until junction with N1 and take N1, direction of Pretoria

* stay on N1 until connection with N4, direction of Rustenburg, take N4 until exit "Brits"

* after leaving N4, at the T-junction, turn right, cross Brits and follow R511, direction of Thabazimbi.

* About 15 km before Thabazimbi, on the righthand side, take gravel road direction of Rooiberg for about 15km. You'll see, on the righthand side of the gravel road indication for "Modumela" and "Spirit of Africa", take this connection on the right, to the T junction at the end, then right again and you'll reach a sliding gate, which is the first gate of Spirit of Africa reserve. Follow this road until the second gate and then immediately right after the second gate (follow the fence). Keep following this road and you'll reach the lodge. Distance between the sliding gate and the lodge is about 5.6 km.

 

From Bela-Bela (Warmbaths) :

* take R516, direction of Thabazimbi

* at the T-junction of Koedoeskop, turn right direction of Thabazimbi

* after about 25 km from the T-junction, take the gravel road on the righthand side (Rooiberg)
